Default Sliding patio doors

The heavy, glass sliding doors to our patio (nearly 20 years old) are hard to open as there is a rough patch across which the wheels refuse to roll smoothly.

The doors themselves are fine, but I suspect that the rails and wheels could do with replacement.

I was going to suggest to Mrs Fox that she tackle this project herself , but I hate to see her struggling alone with doors weighing maybe 50lbs each

Any recommendations for a suitable contractor?

Thank you

Mine could do with some attention, too - would also appreciate recommendations

I had a problem with ours being hard to open or close, squealing, and moving like on cobblestones. We contacted a company that replaced the fixed panel, but they couldn’t come out for several weeks. They referred us to Romac and they replaced the rollers on the door, solving all the problems. You might try contacting Warranty to see who did your sliders and if they can evaluate your problem.

Hope this helps.
