Default Stained Glass Supplies

I'm looking for a Stained Glass supply store in this area that has a large selection of glass. And is there a stained glass club in The Villages?

My wife does stained glass in Norcal and said Hobby Lobby carries "some" stained glass supplies. There is a Hobby Lobby in Ocala on Hwy 200 near K-Mart.

Thanks Chuckinca

I'm looking for as store with a fairly large selection of glass to finish a project I started in Michigan. There is a store in Leesburg that has tools and some glass but not enough of a selection for what I'm doing. I will probably end up ordering it on line.

I remember there was a stained glass studio when I visited Micanopy, they gave lessons and had a large inventory. I looked on the Chamber site but did not see the studio, maybe you could call to see if they are still in business.

Here are some suggestions from my favorite stained glass artist, who was at these places a couple of years ago and not since.

======
Mt. Dora has a shop also. Sorry address, but it's not on the main street of town. Very nice shop. Very helpful woman. Lessons offered.
======
Glassic Arts Stained Glass
320 S. Spring Garden Ave. Ste. E.
Deland, FL
386-738-1008
glassicarts.net

Nice selection. Very helpful, wonderful, and if you spend over $100 you get 20% discount
======
D&A Stained Glass Creations
6954 U.S. Highway 41 (North Florida Ave.)
Holder, FL
352-465-0834

Huge selection of glass. No discounts. Prefers cash or check. If using credit card, she will charge extra six percent. Did not give a lot of attention to customers.

Default Stained glass club

Hi! I also dabble in stained glass and assumed there was a club or workshop where I could do my stuff. I don't easily see anything listed in the Club Listings from TV. Anyone have any thoughts?

Default Stained Glass

This is an old thread that I am revisiting. Does anyone know the closest place to learn stained glass techniques? Of course I would pick something not offered here!!

Have you inquired at Amazing Glaze on 466? I've taken a fused glass class there and they seemed to have glass for sale.

I met a lady on Spanish Square who is teaching a stained glass class at the Life Long Learning Center. Also check the Recreation News that comes out in the Daily Sun on Thursdays. if you are looking for supplies, equipment or glass, I have a neighbor who's husband passed and he use to do stained glass. She is trying to sell off everything. Call me, Marilyn, at 7501370 if you are interested at looking at her glass and supplies.

MACC Business Guide.

I heard there was a stained glass store in Ocala (not Hobby Lobby) that has stained glass. I never heard the name. Perry's glass doors on Spanish Springs plaza by Publix does stained glass inserts for doors and I'll bet he could tell you where you might get glass locally. I heard of the store in Leesburg but I don't know if it is still open.
