Default Comcast TV

Does anyone know what is going on with Comcast? Several channels are blacked out - sound is still there but no picture. Checked on other TVs and it's all the same and it's not just at my home.

I don't know what's going on, but I did find that we could view a few (ABC and CBS) by going to their high definition (9-1 & 6-1) channels.

Don't worry. Comcast is prepared to grant all customers a rebate for service they failed to deliver. Just watch your next bill. I feel certain it will be reduced since it's the absolute right thing to do.

I've never seen a cable company give a credit without complaining,
and even then, it's a 50-50 proposition. good luck

The same thing happened to me the other night...I called around to other Comcast viewers and they were NOT having the same problem. So the fix is...unplug your Comcast box for a minute...plug it back...and it works.

I called Comcast when the problem happened, and I got the recording that said they were aware of the problem and were working to fix it. I couldn't get through to a real person. Maybe it will show up in the bill?
