As the year begins to wind down I'd like some recommendations regarding a local Tax Accountant or CPA to file state and federal returns. I know AARP (and perhaps another group) offer assistance to Villagers and I'm not denigrating their services at all. They are very good. However, having just completed my move to TV this year my returns with multiple R.E. Taxes, etc. may require someone who is fully abreast of all the changes and new deductions. Not looking to cheat but willing to push the envelope. Advice will be greatly appreciated.

We have used Sorensen Tax Advisory Group since we moved here four years ago. They are located at 1515 Buenos Aires Blvd. and their phone number is 751-4590. We moved from Alabama (state return required) and we had government retirement issues to deal with, so our first year was complicated. Mark Sorensen took care of everything at a very reasonable price.

Now, each year he does our taxes for us for a fixed price of $49, and that includes e-filing.

Everyone we have referred to Sorensen has been very pleased.
