As posted previously, we hired a vent company to come in and do vent clean/vacuum. The only reason we did this was we just purchased the home in Mallory and figured it had never been done and yes you must watch for mold in Fla ESPECIALLY when previous owners barely ran the AC. The guy came in , looked at return vent in hallway near bedroom and said we had mold. For $2,000 they could remove. So today we had our AC company come in (we just replaced whole unit with them in Aug) he went up and looked, took photos and showed to us. It was all DUST. Bottom line, beware and AC company did recommend a good cleaning of all ducts, spraying, etc.. for $600. He said that should be done every 8 yrs so we figured we would do just that so we can start fresh and make sure everything done properly. sure hope this is legitimate now. We use Sun Kool. Getting it done next week
