Exclamation Gas Water heater/Repair Replacement

Anyone have a recommendation for someone to repair/replace a gas hot water heater? Tried ABC Frederick's and they said they don't replace gas water heaters. (Obviously, the sooner I can find someone the better!)

Hi Redwitch!
Of course you know we're not there yet (!) but we had good luck going to Lowe's. They have real plumbers they work with and the prices are in line with everyone else.

If we had gas I'd replace it with a tankless in a heart beat!

Sears will repair most home appliances, even if it is not one they sold. Not much that can be repaired, so you may end up with replacement- again we have used Sears in the past.

We had Patrick Daugherty, owner of Paramount Plumbing, do a repair at our home this winter. He's prompt, reasonable and highly skilled. I hate doing plumbing...now that we found Patrick, my plumbing issues will be handled without any sweat on my part at a reasonable cost.
