Are you happy with the look and function.

When we move to the villages, we are planning on having honeycomb fabric type blinds on the sliding doors. They slide across, rather than down like they do on a regular window. They take up very little room.

Have just made the decision to go with honeycomb vertical shades for energy efficiency & sheets over them for a more softer look. This is a very difficult decision. Good luck

Sounds interesting. Can you post pictures? Also, a ballpark on cost. Thanks.

Me too! It sounds really nice. My husband wants unobstructed views, but I don't like these vertical blinds we have. Did you do anything on your other windows to match?

What do you mean by "sheets over them"?

We have window treatments

We have window treatments because the sliders are not used frequently, but you could use this treatment if you start the treatment at both ends of the window....Just another option..

I would love to see the pictures of what you used on your sliding doors. Please send to karinborn99@gmail.com. Thank you.

We have a friend that has a 16 ft cascading slider and doesn't have any window treatments...It looks really nice and open. They have blinds on their lanai that they have down when they want privacy. Just another option if you like the open more contempory look.

Thank you!!! This is a wonderful idea we hadn't thought of. :BigApplause:

We do not have any treatment around our slider which leads to the enclosed lanai which has shades. Have an offset lot and basically no one could see in unless they really, really tried so no need to close anything!
