Sorry, I am just getting used to TOV. We have a new home in Sanibel and I am looking for a contractor to do our garage floor in epoxy. Have seen several good recommendations for Woody from Superior Concrete Designs. Now that you are several months in would you still recommend his work?
Thank you, Linda Pierleoni

Yes, still happy Linda. But, I have to admit that we have not been here full time, about one week per month. Will be full time starting next month. I still like the shiny surface. It is very easy to sweep out the dirt and grass clippings that are tracked in. We have not had any spills that would put it to the test. I have not seen any tire marks left behind. It has not been slippery with wet shoes.
I have noticed that drips from a wet car will take a while to evaporate, and sometimes leave a dull film. A few swishes with a wet rag will remove the film, if you are as fussy as me. However, this leads me to think that, if I ever do have damaged areas, they will be more obvious on a shiny surface that satin finish.
Most people have been happy with the product used by Tim The Tool Man. It is a two-part epoxy base (one coat) with a satin clear acrylic (water-based?) top coat. It is also available on-line for DIY application. I would think that it is suitable for the average homeowner.
One final comment, Woody's process took four days, and had to be left for another 5 days before putting vehicles on it. I don't know how busy he is, but it would be tough to get this done on a short trip.
