Conversation Between Radioman41 and CraigC

Hi,
Saw one of your postings earlier mentioning ham radio. I am a ham, too, and we just contracted for a Villa on Fairwinds in St. James. We close on 4/23, but will just be there part time until the home here in north Alabama sells. Really, not sure I would like it to sell too fast. Have too much ham radio stuff to sell. Have up four towers, and antennas on 160M through 10 GHz. Needless to say, I'm planning to thin down a little when we move there!

Wonder what you have learned on the ham radio front since moving there? I had heard once that there was a club station in the Villages, but I understand there isn't one now if there ever was in the past.

We will probably be in and out this summer trying to get enough in the house that we can survive until the real move, but do plan to be there from late fall through the winter no matter what happens with the house here.
