I really admire your continued attempt to bring sanity to political discussions. I have pretty much given up trying to dialogue with these right wing fanatics. They won't listen to a reasonable rebuttal, answering everything with fox news talking points, or personal attacks. Reasonable debate or a chance that any hearts and minds can be persuaded are a virtual impossibility. Nevertheless, I am glad someone like you gets in the fray and at least prevents the righties from totally dominating the conversation. I get on the politics board about once a week just to see what is going on then I unsubscribe immediately so the threads don't show up on my screen -- it keeps my blood pressure under control.
