I agree with you that JD&V is a little high. They rented my brand new Iris long-term, unfurnished in 2 days. The renters have a one year contract. JD&V gets $300 every month to send me a check!

I listed my home through Vicky's sister, Lois Johnson. I will say I've talked to Lois with a couple of issues and she has been very responsive.

But, I may look elsewhere when my contract is up.

I have used JD & V for the property management of my new patio villa for the last year. I really had no complaints with them except that their fee is a little high. When I hired them Diane Musick was one of the owners but she has since sold out to Vicky Couture. I have 2 good agents who kept me informed of what they found when they inspected my place. I would recommend them but there are also others I hear that will do the same for a lower fee. Hope this helps.
