Thanks big guy..No bad smell yet. Palms leaves are beginning to droop..I will drop by office, in meantime i have provided Palm with magnesium Palm food and sprayed Palm for fungal and Insect..#tryingtosavemypalm FingersX

Sylvester palms are getting a virus lately that there is no cure for. Are the bottom leaves turning brown and collapsing against the trunk? Take pictures, take note of the main stem and how it looks, if there is a smell to the palm (bad smell). Bring those things and your notes and come to UF/IFAS Sumter County Master Gardener plant clinic on Mondays between 9am and 3pm at the government annex (where you got your Florida license). We have moved to the Health Dept bldg beside the fire dept. There is no charge to diagnose your palm.
