Does this filter system need salt or potasum tabs?? Or just 1x a yr filters changed out??

the whole house is not softener, it is a complete filter system.
That alone is 275 or 399 installed.
That's all I'm using.

A softener installed is $1499 to that you can add the above whole house or just carbon for an add'l cost don't have the $$ figures with me at the moment but about $125-150.

I read your posts all the time w great info, the whole house water filter you will be installing for yourself and others, do you have to add salt or potasium tabs to it, what about a water softener as well??? What kind is it and how much for both and installing it???
