Sorry for the delay getting back to you but I was fly fishing in Montana!
We want to visit the Villages and see it first hand. Sounds great to me.
Interesting that some folks move 2 or 3 times after going to the Villages. You are so right about moving being stressful.

You may want to contact the Villages office, I assume it is still available where you can rent a new home for a week or two, Aside-my wife and I did it 3x before we bought, Obviously, I don't know you or your situation,
Selling a home, packing, moving is all expensive in terms of not just money but time, stress etc, You hear people say the average villager moves 2 or 3 x, We bought our place 4,5 years ago and it was new construction, Our neighbor on our left had a place in the villages bought the place nextdoor to us before it was even built-nice people and a nice house, They decided they wanted a pool, it is a large property in fact the new buyer put in a pool, Our original neighbor bought a place in STONECREST, They are only two people. They bought a huge place four bedrooms they put in a pool etc. Now two years later my wife saw that home is listed for sale. I know if it sells for the full listed price they will be loosing money.
