We used Santos urgent care on 466A. The airline let us know what time would be acceptable and we had the results within 24 hours. They were great, and e-mailed the results so that we had them for our trip, which required the PCR test within 72 hours.

Check out Village Discount Pharmacy in Freedom Plaza CR 44 in Wildwood. There were folks in there last week getting tests for their cruise, it was a rapid test, but not sure which kind but apparently it is valid for travel. At the time there was no wait.

That’s what she though too.

not the rapid test, the PCR rapid test....there used to be one on 441 near WAWA that is now permanently closed...I would have to go down to Orlando for this particular test where I can get the results in an hour.

any information for this test that you might have would be helpful..

thank you,

sonja

With all that’s going on with Covid and what have to go through to cruise I rather go back to work than go on cruise out of country. Just too much hassle for me.

Antigen test (frequently referred to as a rapid test). This test detects protein fragments specific to the Coronavirus. It can be done in a clinic, doctor’s office, or hospital. Turnaround time for results is usually very quick and in some cases, results can be reported within 15 minutes.
PCR test. PCR testing is considered the “gold standard” in SARS-CoV-2 detection. This test actually detects RNA (or genetic material) that is specific to the virus and can detect the virus within days of infection, even those who have no symptoms. The test can be done in a clinic, hospital, or even in your car. Turnaround time is longer, generally in the 2-3 day range but results can be in as little as 24 hours. When demand is high, results can take a week or longer.

We sailed with Princess in august from Southampton in the U.K., a 4 night mini cruise, and they included the rapid PCR test in the fare & it was done at the port before we could even park. Ask your cruise line.

Default Indeed.

Yup. Doesn't speak well for the efficacy of the "vaccine," does it?
