Milley was too busy changing pronouns in military pamphlets.

So much for "over the horizon anti terrorist capabilities. Sounds more like a "wag the dog strike" than a "righteous strike.
"They" have NO idea who the suspected bomb planner was. They just lobbed a bomb into a crowd of people and claimed they got the bomber to make the real story go away.

I saw a large secondary explosion, implying that the targeted truck was loaded with explosives.

It was parked in a densely populated neigborhood, presumably on purpose to avoid detection. The sad killing of the aid worker was unintentional.

The media is now shifting the succesful military and intelligence story to one of blame, surely with the help of the Taliban.

What am I missing?

“The procedures were correctly followed and it was a righteous strike” Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said afterward.

Some of the kids killed.

This is a sad moment, but is it any different from the thousands, or tens of thousands of kids killed in Afghanistan over the past 20 years. Oh, wait, there is a difference - it happened under Biden's watch, and he's the right's current bad guy.

I read the Peter Principle many years ago, I believe they have a new name for the concept now, but I agree with the principle. Old memories came back.

Remember the thirteen U.S. troops killed a few days before because the Taliban “guarding” the road to the airport allowed a suicide bomber to get past their checkpoints? Remember the “credible threat” that another bomb was about to be set off? Was there immense pressure to keep that from happening? Did the guy in the car look highly suspicious to people watching on satellite or drone images? Yes! Is there a lag time between when the order to strike is given and when the drone hits? Yes. Would you rather that the guy who gave the order hesitate until after another bomb had gone off? Are you glad the hit was made in an enclosed courtyard instead of on a busy street where hundreds might have been killed? I’m sorry the kids died, but so did those 13 troops. Go complain to their families! Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty, right? Don’t try to politicize this. I think the right decision was made.

The investigation was done by the NY Times, hardly a far right publication. The investigation was thorough including surveillance video of this guys travels throughout the day.

Our woke military is becoming a joke. Can't tell the difference between bombs and water jugs.

Seriously? Do you remember "Smart Bombs" we used in Iraq? It took longer to find out that it was all BS. I think the military spewing lies has not stayed ahead of people's ability to find the truth.

You saw a gas tank explode. Even a moron could see that the car was not loaded with explosives because the wall 2 feet from the car is still standing.

The car was parked in the aid worker's home after his day of running errands, bringing water etc. Which is why 7 children died.

So much lying from our government from the top down. And, unfortunately had to watch a walking corpse try to commemorate those that passed on 9/11.

No, not surprised. The whole war was based on fake info. Started & ended terribly. What a waste.

But some people did well, including military contractors & their stockholders and "Our Greatest Ally".
