We have tickets to return to our other home in Arkansas at the end of April. The airlines are currently requiring a COVID negative test within 3 days of travel. With masks, seems safe. We will have our final shots next week. I really hate staying in motels (even before the pandemic), and prefer our trailer when possible. Can hardly wait to book another cruise when things really settle down.

What airline requires a covid test? I have been flying all over the country without one. Ive been on JetBlue, Delta, Southwest and AA.

Just flew to Arizona and back last week on Delta. No negative test requirement. That may be a requirement to travel internationally but not within the US.

They just came out that if you are vaccinated you can visit a house hold without issue and that you should still wear a mask when in public. Sounds like you should be good to go. We are traveling from Mass to The Villages in a couple week by car to enjoy a vacation and close up our house for the summer. We have a cruise booked for Sept 2022 as well. Camp opens in May in Madbury NH and our boat will go into the water sometime in May. Finally we have already started looking at flights Dec 2021 to our timeshare in Aruba. It will be our first flight since the first week in March 2019. Hopefully my doctor will be good with all of that.

The 5% is NOT such a bad failure as you are implying. Both Pfizer and Moderna protect 100% against VERY bad symptoms of CV, like hospitalization and death. You do have a 5% chance of getting mild to medium bad symptoms, not needing hospitalization.

I agree. I read that you can STILL get it even IF vaccinated.

by the end of March we'll both have had the two shots...and we'll finally start going to restaurants again

in mid April we drive up to Savannah and then on to Beaufort for a ten day escape

Memorial Day weekend we'll have driven up to Cleveland to visit relatives and sight seeing on the way back

in early August we're driving up to New England to visit family and friends....that'll be close to a 3 week jaunt
