I would love to know what the TV ratings are for the playoffs. I expect they are very low. No one I know is watching the games.

As a former state trooper, I am appalled at what I've witnessed on television with these types of killings. Wouldn't you think the officers involved in these incidents would consider the consequences of their actions, i.e. mass rioting, millions in damages, defiance of authority, injuries, deaths, and on and on and on? There can be no defense for an officer that shoots a man in the back numerous times, when other options (taser, two officers overtaking the suspect) are available. Some will say that the guy was going for a knife in the car (something that hasn't been proven), but as the old saying goes, never bring a knife to a gun fight. If in fact he had been going for a knife, the shooting might have been justified, but certainly not in the back.

Aren't we glad that we aren't black? When a white person gets pulled over by the police, the first thing that eneters his mind is "Oh, oh - probably getting a traffic ticket", while the black when being pulled over only hopes he doesn't die. For the most part we are a racist society, for if we weren't we might understand and appreciate the reasons these pro players are ****ed off, instead of passing them off as unappreciative "thugs". LeBron James pays for college education at the University of Akron, for kids that complete his "I Promise Program". This young, gifted pro b-ball player is anything but a "thug".

Thank you for the good response, guess those numerous replies with white privilege have some blinders on....wish all them could spend a day, week or month in black skin...they’d change their tune pretty quick!!

okay so they have 'a stage' ...if it was a Broadway play the title might be "How I shot myself in the foot"

I lost all interest in watching the NBA when Larry Bird retired

We stopped watching pro sports when Kaepernick took a knee. And some are "impressed" with his stand against police brutality?? What.....by wearing socks with pigs on them dressed like police?? Please!! If these pro athletes are THAT impassioned about these issues, why aren't they putting their money where their mouths are and sitting down with law enforcement, mentoring at-risk kids in the inner cities, etc?? Until THEY are hit where it hurts.....in the pocketbook, they'll continue to think any of us are impressed by their antics, keep following them and bowing down. SO sick of it all.

So not being in support of the "agenda" defines one as white privilege?!
What do you call the common every day black who is not supportive of the agenda?! You know the group nobody ever hears about! Or from!
The same folks who believe if you break or disobey the law you get what you deserve.

The continual forcing so many issues into a white VS black has become a very dangerous situation threatening the American majority......anybody that that bleeds red!!!!!

Boycott the NBA and the other anti-american oppressed millionaires.

No hats shirts shoes or other over-priced apparel.

They do not need my $$.
