This is wonderful. So glad you shared this. It makes you wish this girl was your neighbor and friend. Just wanted to give her a great big hug.

The speaker is badly organized and far from succinct (some people at The Villages who post YouTube videos about life here have the same problem). However, she is a political conservative and a Christian. It makes me sad that so many of those responding here can’t get past her looks or her youth or her salad and piece of bread and treat her fairly and listen. She is opposed to the protests and to white liberals and to black liberals and to the welfare state and to affirmative action. She is against a culture of victimization. She believes in hard work as the key to success. Some people who actually agree with her are not only turning away but calling her names. That disgusts me. She’s on your side! Wade through the verbosity and give her an Amen if you agree.

You should have watched the whole thing. I, too, was turned off at first, but it's worth the time to watch the entire tape.

Has anybody wondered why she would chose to be eating while speaking.

It was an obvious decision, for what ever the reason or intent!

I took the time to listen to the entire tape. She's a tell it like it is person. She has a good message for both blacks and whites. I've seen a lot of condescending (and some racist) remarks on this site. So sad that all of you retired people didn't have the time to listen to the entire tape. I didn't realize how many mean and nasty people there were here. Your eyes are opened to the nastiness by just going on these sites. This girl has a great message for both races. So sad most of you judged her within 15 seconds. I find the remarks a lot more disgusting than the bite of food she took in the beginning of the tape. I've sure seen a lot of you eating and talking at the same time in restaurants in TV. Get over yourselves.

If you had listened to the tape you would know she was raised by her mother who was a manager at Popeyes chicken restaurant. Her mother also encouraged her to work and to never rely on welfare.

You didn't listen to the entire tape. She called out liberals a whole lot more than she did conservatives.
