I have enjoyed watching NFL games for decades. I plan to watch a couple of NFL games today....it is TBD whether I continue to watch the games

What I do know is that never again will I pay to go see a game live, nor will I buy any NFL 'gear'

Bad news when the NFL, NBA, MLB and other corporate types caved into the demands of a political group. I guess it worked. Now if you have a political agenda you want to push, you can use the BLM agenda - Burn, Loot and Murder.

Here's CBS Sports for today:
I guess it's supposed to be the Washington REDSKINS
But afraid to say it now.
But the Cleveland Browns are OK?

NFL protests: Networks take varied approach to covering social justice

Howie Long was even more forceful. “I’m embarrassed to say that the very first time Colin Kaepernick took a knee I thought, ‘Why during the national anthem?’ Because for a person who looks like me, this is the greatest country in the world. For the last 400 years, that hasn’t been the reality for African Americans.

“It’s a time for change,” Long added. “If you can’t see that, you’re either uninformed or a lost soul.”

When I first heard the fake stadium crowd noise, I thought my toilet was running.

So, are you tired of the activism in pro sports? Have you stopped watching?

You have to admit... golf continues to "fly underneath the radar." I haven't seen anyone on the pro circuit wear a "BLM" shirt. In fact, none of the pro golf players are jumping into this controversy.

I love this. They are just playing the sport they love and we just get to watch it. Sigh...

Enlisted Veteran 68-72 watching Football today.

No worse than canned laughter on Comedy’s. Presentation is good until they pan the stands.

Yep, gotta love watching rich white guys hit a ball! My response to the initial question “Do you think pro sports are dead” - two words - Hell no!

Glad he thinks he knows so much more than me. Stopped watching pre game shows years ago and no reason to start again.

The Browns were named for their founder and coach Paul Brown.

Thank God he wasn't called Paul White!

could care less

I quit watching most sports except some football over 20 years ago. Have never spent any money on sports memorabilia, or tickets. Sports players show how ignorant and self centered they are living and preaching to us yet never really confronting what caused the social injustice they rave about. To me most sports are dead and someday the very rich television contracts will slowly dry up.
