Frustrated with Facebook censorship
A few friends on Facebook have posted articles... Facebook feels that these articles are incorrect. OK. But Facebook doesn't allow me to see the post, they "overshadow" it and say the post is incorrect. Then they link to something that tells you why they post is incorrect.
My issue is.. let me read the post!!! Facebook can tell me why they think (or know) it's fraudulent... but let me read the post!!! I feel this is censorship... and I find it really annoying and frustrating. Does anyone know of another Social Media platform that doesn't impose this censorship? |

I agree with Facebook. The average American does not process information with facts, they use emotional feeling like, “Well, my Daddy says”. When we move away from Medical Experts and listen to the loudest voice, we’re in trouble.

Facebook, and I believe Twitter are both trying to manage the inflammatory posts. There are a lot of followers that get their news and hear what their positions should be as dictated by their friends. While you may be able to filter, posters know you are in the minority are searching for those that won't. Since those are the only two I look at I personally don't have an option with those filters.

This provides a brilliant light into the workings of self-described elitist thinking ... astonishingly arrogant but unintentionally revealing. It's then used to support censorship by "the betters" such as Facebook?? ...

So should we listen to Dr Fauci when he said The risk is miniscule to Americans Face masks don't work Travel bans don't work Pandemics are never driven by asymptomatics Or do we listen when he says the exact opposite? |

Social Media at it’s onset was, and I emphasize was, a great platform for socializing with friends and relatives. It has now degenerated into a”National Enquirer” online rag that allows unsubstantiated postings placed just for the posters benefit. Unfortunately the powers to be at these social media sites now choose to filter content to meet their so called beliefs and standards. Just continue to read these posts then wait a few days, or weeks, to actually discover if they are truth or fiction. Too polluted for me.

It is exactly what all fascists/communists/socialists have done in every country they control. Allow no dissenting opinion of their dogma because it won't stand up to the light of truth.

NOT ONE person should ever stoop to the level of relying on Facebook or Twitter for news or issues. It is distorted greatly, and the changes at those two platforms are aiming at stopping the "outside influences" very much at play in both places. They need to be stronger. If anyone wishes facts so they can develop a HEALTHY, logical opinion, these type places are a EXTREME TABOO. They do not present the truth, and all sides of any issue use them....the loudest wins ? Having a message that translates well on these type of sites, does not make them the correct message. We all make our own opinion, but it has to be based on truths. |
