There are three things fox cannot hide one is lies, if not for the light here would be no shadow, They should not enter the forest if they fear leaves ( law suits).

I certainly agree with this post, not focusing on any one of these "media stars" like Carson, Como, Lemon, etc. but puzzling when you read the comments like "thank God", and "it's about time" on any of their firings or departures. I have a few on every network I don't care for AT ALL, but if they leave or are "fired", is of no concern to me. I am able to just not watch them if I chose. I often like to watch those I don't care for personally from time to time ! I don't like to see and hear only what one particular person's, network's, or source's interpretation of an event or story is. My #1 dislike of all is when a politician gives a major speech, or when the "so called debates" are presented, and each network then EXPLAINS TO ME what each speaker said !!! That is the ultimate disingenuous behavior. Fine if a media person wants to come on and say to the audience: "this is what I got from the debates tonight", but no, they invariably say: "This is what YOU need to get from tonight's debate". Shows VERY LITTLE trust in our educational system to think those who complete just the minimum free education of 12 years, can not even process ideas and concepts put forth in a speech ??? That they need an interpreter to tell them what they should discern from a speech or debate ? |
Welcome to George Orwell's 1984..we are living in an upside down world. Media has become what we should fear.
Even to understand the word—doublethink—involved the use of doublethink.” Four examples of doublethink used throughout 1984 include the slogans: War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength, and 2 + 2 = 5. Memory hole: a small chute leading to a large incinerator. |

Perhaps Fox and CNN will get to just reporting the news. Nah, that won’t happen.

Chris Cuomo was advising his brother which was a CNN no no. Toobin was masterbating on a ZOOM call. Lauer, guilty as charged.

When I want to watch news, I watch the actual news on the networks. Y'know, the "live at 5" news, where they tell you "this happened. That happened. This other thing happened. Here's the weather forecast. Here's a fluff piece about a dog who rescued a 4-year-old boy. See you all tomorrow for more news, live at 5." Or I'll read a reuters or AP feed. I get my court/bill-voting/congress/senate hearing stuff from CSPAN, which just sets a video stream down in the back of the room and live-streams it without any commentary at all. I don't like it when paid front-men try to instruct me how to feel about what I'm seeing. It's condescending and implies that you are too stupid to make your own decisions about the topic. So I avoid watching any of those types of "reports," no matter where they come from. |
