People like Tucker Carlson, and his lies have caused the big divide in this country. I'm glad even Fox said too much, I worry about where he will show up next. He is evil. |
Cute little face with a perplexed look
Tucker always reminded me of the smart ass little kid in my class who just loved asking stupid questions when he really thought he knew the answer. Just trying to get something started, just trying to rile everybody up. That adorable little furrowed brow and those suggestions that he threw out there in such a seemingly naive, endearing way, always trying to make you think that he was really on to something. Such great personality traits in a “widely respected” talk show host or snake oil salesman.
Hopeful that those worry lines on his forehead go away now that he’s been relieved of his duties🤣🤣 |

"According to the Times of San Diego, an online news outlet, San Diego-based One America News might be willing to pay $25 million to Carlson to join its network.
“It would be great if we could get Tucker! I might give him around $25 million,” OAN CEO and founder Robert Herring told the outlet in an email, the Times of San Diego reported. “And he would be well worth that!”" From: Tucker Carlson Given Job Offer with Salary Up to 3 Times More than He Was Making at Fox News |

[QUOTE=I'm Popeye!;2211850]Why? What has he done personally to you, all it took was one click of your remote control to get him out of YOUR life. You must be one of THOSE with pink/green hair, and YES I have Guns... :ho:[/QUOTE
I certainly agree with this post, not focusing on any one of these "media stars" like Carson, Como, Lemon, etc. but puzzling when you read the comments like "thank God", and "it's about time" on any of their firings or departures. I have a few on every network I don't care for AT ALL, but if they leave or are "fired", is of no concern to me. I am able to just not watch them if I chose. I often like to watch those I don't care for personally from time to time ! I don't like to see and hear only what one particular person's, network's, or source's interpretation of an event or story is. My #1 dislike of all is when a politician gives a major speech, or when the "so called debates" are presented, and each network then EXPLAINS TO ME what each speaker said !!! That is the ultimate disingenuous behavior. Fine if a media person wants to come on and say to the audience: "this is what I got from the debates tonight", but no, they invariably say: "This is what YOU need to get from tonight's debate". Shows VERY LITTLE trust in our educational system to think those who complete just the minimum free education of 12 years, can not even process ideas and concepts put forth in a speech ??? That they need an interpreter to tell them what they should discern from a speech or debate ? |
Welcome to George Orwell's 1984..we are living in an upside down world. Media has become what we should fear.
Even to understand the word—doublethink—involved the use of doublethink.” Four examples of doublethink used throughout 1984 include the slogans: War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength, and 2 + 2 = 5. Memory hole: a small chute leading to a large incinerator. |
