No, those are the lot prices without a house. When you buy the lot, you need to contract with The Villages to build a house on it.

You are spot on.

Just looked online. Most lots listed now are in the $300's.

Wow!

Wow!

That’s a lot of coin for some sand that has been pushed around.

I have noticed not as many houses or lots are now selling though. Maybe the higher prices are just the doctor ordered to slow this beast down.

Where did you get that info? Driving around there are a lot of sold signs on houses all over the place. Not much available on TV site for sale. I suspect there are more people in this Country that can afford the prices then the number of houses they will ever build. This will continue to be a more affluent population which is why outside development is growing with lower prices. The Beast will continue to be fed.

I received a notice from our Sales Agent about the release of those expensive lots yesterday...

Looks like 6-7 of them have sold in the last 2 days...

Well, when there is a monopoly on land and house construction, prices sure can rise more than the free market. retention view lots 2 1/2 years ago were about 100K, but don't confuse boardwalk asset price increase with daily consumption inflation. . .
