It's like the old football saying "You can't coach speed" only in this case you can't teach stupid.

You can only hope that Darwin chooses wisely.

Absolutely great video. Subscribed to his channel.

I have to disagree. You can teach stupid. America's school systems have done it for decades.

Funny and thought provoking. Thanks for sharing.

Under 600 tuberculosis deaths in the US. We have over 132,000 deaths from covid in just a few months. Not informative.

The selfish ones are the masked rioters and looters who are beating and shooting people. You think that they are wearing masks to protect you? Ha. What a joke.

Masks are just making it easier for them to wreak havoc with impunity.

Seriously uninformed. The violent ones are by far the minority. And the protestors overall are also a very small number (and declining every day) compared to the population. If you want to use this small slice of life to justify your own actions, so be it.

500 million dollars worth of damage caused by these masked menaces in the Twin Cities alone.

I liked the video. My concern is the analogy to TB. I'll assume the facts on TB presented in the video are accurate. TB is killing about 4000 people per day. COVID-19 is killing about 4500/day. The difference is that TB is treatable and preventable. Also, it hard to make the case that because you didn't wear a mask in the US in 2018 to prevent the spread of TB, you don't need to wear a mask to prevent the spread of COVID-19. There is very little TB is the US. We are wearing masks to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 so that our hospitals don't exceed capacity and we can safely open our schools and businesses.

I thought you made a good point about TB but that's just one example. In 2018, 80,000 people died of Influenza. Then there is pneumonia, sepsis, etc. etc. CDC: 80,000 people died of flu last winter in the U.S. - STAT.

What's more concerning is the inconsistency with masks. My husband and I had to drive across country for family and in the Rockies, bandanas are very popular. A new article released on the ineffectiveness of bandanas, Bandana is least effective form of face mask, study says. There have been numerous articles on homemade masks. There is such a wide variance, some are barely helpful at all. A number of people don't even cover their noses. How many people wash their cotton masks every time they wear them?

I had so many problems breathing that I had my doctor monitor my drop in oxygen levels and yes their was a noticeable drop after 10 minutes. I now wear a face shield and was happy to see a positive report by AARP. Face Shields May Be Better Than Masks for COVID-19.

Concerning schools and children, there was a very funny and accurate post by a mother. Here is a quick sample of some of the post
"Please don’t snap Billy's mask in his face.
Your mask is not a necklace, bracelet, or any other form of jewelry.
You should not be using your mask as a slingshot. Please put it back on your face.
Please do not chew on your mask.
Your mask should be on your face, not on the back of your head
I’m sorry your mask is wet, but that's what happens when you lick the inside of it.
I’m sorry you sneezed. Here's a tissue. Wipe out the snot as well as you can.
No, you may not blow your nose in your mask."

When our education system has already fallen so far below other countries, when will teachers ever have time to teach?

CDC and many other health organizations are saying to wear a ask when social distancing cannot be maintained and yet there is now a push to wear masks whenever in public. A morning walk, as one example, should not require a mask. There's a lot of questions as to whether just wearing "masks" is going to allow us to safely open our schools and businesses. And there's a lot of concerns about the inconsistent and arbitrary rulings that continue to show up.

But thanks to the naysaying me-firsters we are teetering on another crisis and full blown lockdown. Hopefully sanity will eventually rule and masks will become required across the state, and even the country.

If only our president would wear a mask in public and recommend mask wearing by Americans to slow the spread of the virus. I really believe that would help to open the economy going forward.

It wouldn't do jack if masked "protesters" continue to storm the streets and lob molotov cocktails through our storefront windows.

How about if you feel medically vulnerable to contracting this illness, you take personal responsibility for your own health and well being and shop during high risk hours and allow the rest of us to make those choices for ourselves?

The masks aren't keeping you safe when others are using them as a cover to do you harm.

The truth is testing is only one indication of the spread, the other one is hospital are being overwhelmed with new cases. you can play with the numbers either way, but you can't hide the fact that hospital are at 110% and getting higher. Be smart take all precautions you only have one life.

You couldn't be more wrong.
