Ideas like these come in waves of unrealistic demands that get worse the longer the violence continues. Replacing God with a different one and a 10 day week to eliminate holy days were some examples of the French Revolution. There are other examples but the FR occurred during Enlightenment which has some parallels to modern day appreciation of science over holiness. Although this one may be absurd set your expectations low on new ones should the unrest spread and continue.

Already a well established company since 1987 is pulling out.
