The more important question I would be asking is: Why have they suppressed very safe and effective medications that have been proven many times over that they cure Covid. Dr’s and pharmacist have been told not to prescribe or fulfill the prescriptions for Hydroxychloriquine, Ivermectin and Buedesinide(?) It’s mostly about the greed and love of money. Research, American Frontline Doctors.

When I read this, my blood boils. As it does when I read that Cancer could be cured if it were not for the greed of the doctors.

I am a believer in truth, and in the diligent scientists who developed the vaccines against polio, against Small pox, etc. etc. etc. I respect the high intelligence, and the skill that it takes to bring us this prevention. I worry that this virus will continue to mutate and could possibly reach the point of VERY DIRE CONSEQUENCES.

Me and mine will get a booster, if one is offered and recommended by those people who know more about immunity that we do.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Be patriotic, do your part, get the vaccine (and boosters as needed)! Let's get the countries health, economy and supply chain back in order.

It will be interesting to see the studies that show not only that the antibodies are falling off but the level of antibodies needed to still be protected. There may be fewer antibodies today than nine months ago but if the level is still far above what is needed for protection against the virus then getting a booster is just putting money into the manufacturer's pocket.

I am far from an expert. There is no shortage of people who do not know, posting very partial information.

I was going to post that I read that Pfizer also has a booster. We have gotten both of the Pfizer shots. That was an adventure. Waking up at 5:30 4-5x to wait in the hope of getting an appointment. Now as I predicted, I expected a grocery credit. I don't think it has come to that. They are just handing out hundred dollar bills or whatever.

I also have read Moderna is an American owned company, Pfizer is owned, by Germany, the US and CHINA-whatever that means.

I have also read that moderna is slightly less expensive than Pfizer.

All this debate. If, I am correct the polio shot and small pox shots were forced. You had to have them to go to school. The debate? Your going for the polio shot weds. Debate
YES MOM.

Though three weeks ago Fauci said boosters were not necessary??? Exactly what “scientists” is one to believe? I’m out with participating in the ongoing clinical study!

I am really growing tired of the polio analogy. Polio was indiscriminate - it effected people of all ages regardless of their health. Covid has had almost no impact on children. The only similarity is they were both viruses…

Polio, interesting history. Dr Salk came up with an effective polio vaccine in 1953.
I was three years old. Parents used to live in fear that their kids would catch polio.
Depending on how much damage it did to you, it could mean living the rest of your life in a breathing device called an iron lung. Even then we had pet names for such horrors.

First of all Dr Salk gave the vaccine to the world and made nothing on it. Secondly, there was no debate. If, you wanted to go to school, and you were forced to go to school, you had to get the shot. If, I recall it was several shots boosters etc. Polio is gone in the US
except when we allow it to be imported.

Things have surely changed. Mom said we are going for a polio shot and we went.
There was no debate. I did not have a cell phone. Not sure if child protection services existed. Hum, if I didn't miss them. If, they didn't get married before having kids. If, they didn't work so hard for us. Surely, I could, I SHOULD sue them. POST TOILET TRAINING SYNDROME???????????

I believe the Fauci, the CDC, and the FDA said boosters were not necessary in response to Pfizer suggesting they were. Now Moderna is suggesting boosters are necessary.

Perhaps boosters will be necessary but we need more than the manufacturer saying, "come and get it."

When you did your research on adverse reactions, what were the top five and what percentage of the events did they cover?

It has been proven by studies for years and years now that many needy people who did not get into the group they sought while growing up, such as having lunch at the "in crowd" middle school table, or made the football team, cheer leading team, good grades, etc., later in life subliminally create their own "in crowd" group, therefore giving them the feeling of belonging to something special that you don't. Hence the idiotic QAnon groups and such. This is why, video tapes, cold hard facts, and such have no effect on them. They "need" to believe Hillary drinks baby's blood and tracking devices in the vaccines, etc. to finally belong to the special "all knowing in crowd group" and you will never never ever change their minds. They always resort to conspiracy and lies and that makes them feel protected and special. This is why there are few Harvard MBAs, handsome people, doctors, lawyers, pretty women, etc. in their ranks. Most are out of work young men staying with mom. Sad, but true. Now, someone here will point out the one handsome lawyer or doctor in the whole US that belongs to that group thinking that proves me wrong. Problem is; there is only one.

He is responding to conditions as the figures arrive. I think one thing that IS different is that many, many, many, many more people are getting tested for Covid. Everytime I see the lines for this, I wonder why the lines are not that long for the shots.

Lots of people are getting Covid and not so many people are dying from it, because they are younger. The older you are the worse it is for you to get sick with this bug.

It just seems so frustrating to me, that the vaccine is there, certainly not without risk, but the risk of being inoculated is far less than getting the damn Delta mutation.

How about that these mRNA vaccines are life saving. Is that not convincing enough for you? Saving lives is not important enough for you? SMH.
