Let's turn that around.......do you consider those who are not doing their part (getting vaccinated) for the good of their country and countrymen, patriotic?

The American flag will never bother me. The way our flag was displayed along with the other flag, however, DID bother me.

Sorry.....I take back what I said about children not being affected. Children most certainly are affected by Covid and most certainly have died from Covid, just not in the numbers that seniors are affected.

Gracie.....believe me. If you saw that fellow in the pick me up truck that I saw the other day, you would KNOW what they look like. Take a look at all those who stormed the Capitol. That will give you an idea. You know.....that guy with the horns on his head? That is what I'm talking about.

This has nothing to do with patriotism. You got vaccinated to protect yourself. Now you and others who were calling day and night, to get to the front of the line, to get your shots - did it for the good of the country… please…

I can only tell you why I was vaccinated. First of all to save my own ass. Second of all to get our country to a SAFE herd immunity. That is my story and I can not speak for others.

Anything beyond the first reason is just convenient…

So since the majority of unvaccinated are minorities, every time you see a low rider Cadillac with 21" shiny rims you assume they are unvaccinated and in a Blood or Crip gang...OK got it.

With respect to needing a booster some preliminary results in several countries show the highly contagious Delta variant burns itself out without requiring a booster. One issue is new variants coming into the US from illegal immigration on the Southern border due to poor border management. The immigration controls on the Southern border need to be brought up to the standards for immigration into the US from the rest of the world. A second issue is vaccine hesitancy which may subside with full FDA approval of the vaccines.

There are a lot of smart folks who do have good jobs and dress quite stylishly. There are people with low I.Q.s who dress stylishly and are quite charming and appropriate, one of them is our delightful daughter.

I worry about the people who aren't choosing to be vaccinated and I worry about the repercussions, but they are still good people and loved by their friends and their family.

You are right. I was pigeon holing. And I don't like everyone.

My wife and I were in the Moderna trials. I got the vaccine and she got the placebo. I got my second shot last Oct. 9th. Today I was retested for the anti-bodies and still have them. It's been ten months now. When they unblinded the results they notified my wife and she got her second shot February 26th and still has anti-bodies as of today . After our second shots we both had very mild less-than-24 hours of slight fever and some sore joints, nothing more, nothing less. Another interesting fact that I've run into is that those who had Covid first and then got the shots had much greater reactions from the shots than those of us who just had the shots. Having said that we both highly recommend the shots as a preventative.
