Protecting THEM from WHAT?

THEM = anti-vaxxers. I do not care.

WHAT = Spittle? I've never has a problem holding in my spittle and I am too old to start spitting now...

Is the person making that statement also claiming a moral superiority over persons who choose not to wear masks and not benefit others?

Why are we always trying to find fault in others.........somethings are just what they are without any underline meanings.
I say that all the time if someone ask why I wear one. I just think if the workers but their health on the line I should do my part. No high grounds just a simple reason

Stop looking for faults or underline meanings......just say “Nice of you to think of others”

I so over all you vaxxiers saying if you don’t get the shot we don’t care......I am really over it.
You have no idea why people choose to have or not have the stupid shot. But I thing I know for sure EVERYONE has the right to choose what is best for them and their families.......period.
You want the shot god bless go get it all day long no one should care, I not going to try to you all the reason you shouldn’t get it.....on the same note if I don’t want to get one you should do the same.
I have been against vaccine for over 30 years. So I am not going to just jump in with my eyes wide shut because it’s the thing to do.
So stop judging others.....you don’t know what you don’t know

My freedom doesn’t end when your fears begin

This. Over a year later we now know more about the virus (it is not nearly as deadly as once feared), doctors know how to treat it, hospitals are not being overwhelmed by Covid patients and they never have been. Plus, there is a vaccine now - woohoo!

I saw a video recently posted on Youtube of people enjoying a nice day in Brownwood Square. I didn't see too many masks. The reality is, people are moving beyond Covid and getting on with their lives. Go to any surrounding beach town and you will see exactly what I mean. This is no longer 2020 - thank goodness!

I wear the mask to protect ME. As in protect me from assaulting anyone who gets in my face if I'm not wearing one.

Only a simple statement of fact. You wear masks to stop your spittle from reaching others, thereby protecting them. If everyone wears a mask everyone is protected from each other’s spit. Unless you wear an N 95 mask , all masks don’t protect you, but protect others. Morally right thing to do in my opinion. Everyone makes their own decision as to what they want.

Not "moral" at all. It's just a matter of opinion. If you are vaccinated and still wear a mask, either you are wearing it due to mandates or you have no confidence in the vaccination.

COVID-19: Leaked Chinese document reveals a sinister plan to ‘unleash’ coronaviruses

"A leaked 2015 government paper has revealed a discussion by top Chinese scientists who said a virus could be “unleashed in way never seen before”."

Oh, but "The strains! The strains!". It's like a bad Fantasy Island episode.

There were three stages in U.S. government statements about masks (stage 1) they do not help you (stage 2) they help others, but not you (stage 3) they help you and hope others.

- It is possible the person saying they wear the mask for others never heard the stage 3 information, or heard it but disbelieved it.

I personally thought stage 2 was very strange. How was it masks could prevent aerosols leaving my mask but not entering it. Eventually someone opined that it prevented large drops if I sneezed which helped others, but neither their mask nor mine stopped all aerosols. (That is what I now believe, and yes, I wore a mask before vaccination and still wear it so as not to scare anyone.)

Yes. And they’re right.

People tend to spin things to justify what they think.

I for one wonder why some think masks are such a big deal a life intrusion. It seems to be the same people. My dog is a service dog, I bought him/her/it a vest on ebay. Parking spots for disabled. Why can't I park there, my son in law is a doctor and got me a hang tag and everything. So many other examples, I could fill pages.

Well, they are actually making an effort to protect people that do not want to be protected. Which is ridiculous....
