That means the flag stands for the nation, not that the nation stands for the flag. Do you Get out of your recliner, put down your beer, and stand for the Anthem at home? I went to a sports bar to watch a playoff game last year and sat near two dudes as they guzzled beer and never quit talking, stood up, or removed their mAga caps during the National Anthem. But let a black man peacefully protest, NOT THE FLAG, but injustice, and the yokels lose their minds.

Maybe try our National Anthem.

Players actions are misguided - obviously didn't learn common sense in college.
You don't learn common sense in college when your major is football.

It’s just a game folks, why do we have to politicize everything??? I enjoy the diversion and force myself to ignore all the BS. I like football period, everything else is just background noise!!! So I just sit back, enjoy the modern day gladiators and laugh. Life is too short to take everything so seriously...

Why? Can’t you find something else to do on a Sunday than watch football? Or any sport?

Good weekend for me. Saints win...all other NFC South teams lose. As a bonus, Georgia Tech beat Florida State.
