If one were to just take a moment to listen, it is hard not to put human emotions and understanding to the fears from the black community.
Please don't co-mingle other counter messages in the replies in this post. Start your own post. The blue community rightfully has fears in their own right, but allow each community to express their own concerns and let us work it out as a community to come together rather than divide. Take another minute to see another powerful message about life from this very talented man. |

I saw his audition a couple of weeks ago and was very moved by it. The newer piece you posted was even more moving. What an awesome gift he has. He captures the essence of his mother's fear, the reason for it. It's so sad that anyone should have to acknowledge that purpose for fear, but many people know all too well why that fear exists, and how important and potentially life-saving that fear can be. Sad - but profoundly true.
He expresses it beautifully and he'll definitely go far with his gift of oratory. |

Brandon comes across as a great man that was raised by a loving mother. She should be proud of her son and I'm sure she is.
I doubt Brandon will end up like Floyd or Blake. No doubt life can be harder for blacks in America but he was raised to respect the police and to obey the law so that will go along way in surviving those challenges. America needs great rolemodels for young blacks to admire and look up to. Maybe blm can spend some of the millions they have raised to make this a priority. Plant the seeds in the fertile minds of school aged children with books, videos etc, etc. Thanks for sharing. I'm not an expert on child development or living life as a black person. Just my .02 |
