Let’s be very clear. The protesters are not the rioters and looters. They are legally and peacefully protesting many real societal injustices. Leave them alone.
The rioters are a criminal element who seize the opportunity to steal and destroy while they know law enforcement attention is diverted. Lock them up. |

Accusing all police of brutality is like accusing all protesters of rioting and looting, or all whites as racist or all blacks as criminals. There is always going to be a small group that try to define the majority, we just have to be strong enough to overcome the negative.

In 99% of the killing of a citizen by a police officer it is found to be justified. You can find that in the FBI data base. You can also find that in 2016 15% of whites who were murdered were murdered by a black person. 89% of blacks who were murdered were murdered by a black person. Maybe that should be addressed. And almost 100 police officers die each year in the line of duty. You go to a domestic violence call. You try to tackle gang violence. You try to stem the flow of drugs. Cops have a very difficult job where each day may be their last as they try to protect the law abiding.
Research each of the cases you listed above and see how few if any were not justified by the police officer feeling threatened for their life. Address the real problem for blacks which is that over 70% of blacks are born to single mothers and have no male role model. Floyd was murdered. The cop's going to jail. Address the real issues. |

And maybe more importantly, the time it has taken to address the other 3 cops...who just watched the murder. Supposedly, we'll find out today about those other 3...so we'll just have to wait and see. |
Very informative chart. Notice the percentage of crimes in each category and then remember that we are only 13% black and 61%white, the rest are Hispanic, Asian and Native Americans. The 13% that are black are committing much more than their share of crimes in every category. It is no wonder that they are also imprisoned and killed at a disproportionate rate. You just can't look at a number and begin to understand it without looking at other facts.

We are all part of the "human race" and therefore not perfect. ALL, including black are prejudice to some degree. We may not think of it but in the right situation it will come up. We meet a person, mentally we form an opinion. We have those skills to make judgement calls about everything around us, including people. Not all people are good not all are bad. I believe we should treat everyone with respect. We don't have to hang out with them but we owe each person respect. We all have things in our lives and our past that upset and make us mad. If we all acted out when we felt we were not heard or received prejudice, we would look like a war zone. Irish were discriminated against when they arrived in the US, the Asians, the Italians, the Muslims , the Jews and the poor to name a few. There are those who work around it, who further themselves and who are contributing. Then there are those who continue to find excuses for bad behavior. Respect has been on the decline for a number of years. The basic respect, courtesy, pride in what you have no matter how much or how little and contributing to society is in short supply in some areas and no amount of help or throwing free money at it will change it. People need to work and contribute to be able to feel personal pride.

Unfortunately, the peaceful protesters are a "cover" for the looters/violence instigators to infiltrate and disrupt. If peaceful protesters were not out congregating do you truly think the cowardly looters/violence seekers would willingly show themselves?

Victims
The real victims are the people who have lost their business, the citizens who have been killed, or lost a family member with serious injuries. If you are looking for real victims look to the Jewish citizens who had over 6 million killed or the Chinesse who were slaves in the 1800 or the families of the policemen who have been killed! These are also victims. How about the mother and father who lost a child in the wars? Aren't they victims and their son or daughter who died for their country, they were the highest level of victim!! I am sick and tired of hearing the pretend do good'er feeling sorry for the person throwing the rock at the good citizen and either killing or injuring that person then claiming to be a victim. I remain with the position that punishment should be at least at the same level as the crime and no exceptions. They should have the most serious consequence. Anyone who believes
there is an excuse for killing or injuring someone who is not threatening should be shunned and considered the enabler of the thugs who are the cowards that threaten the free man and woman. :ohdear: |

People like you are the problem, not the rioters.

When are the thousands of protesters that watched the looting, arson and maiming of innocent people doing there job, going to be held responsible for standing around with their cell phones as crimes are committed, going to be held accountable and face justice for their culpability in criminal activities??????

Darn
Darn, I missed the news of rioting in support of the 6 million Jews killed, the slaughter of the Indians, the persecution of the Chinese who were slaves in the 1800,-1900's the Italians who were persecuted when they came to the US in the early 1900's.
The same for the Polish, immigrants and etc etc. I guess they are/were not as important as the one black person killed by a criminal policeman. What is wrong with this picture? Kind of points out how screwed up our value system is and cowardness in allowing thugs to violate all of our rules of law. Rest assured they will be back again as soon as they identify another weakness somewhere and our cowardness to protect our lives and property. 2 policemen were shot in New York City last night and one in another city. Where are the do gooder's screaming about this? They become deaf and blind when it comes to supporting the rules of law:ohdear: |
