Well, looks like another year of my not watching the NFL. I miss it, but I just can't take the attitude of a bunch of millionaires acting out their feelings like this. Why can't they wait until the National anthem is over?

You can go to Gators Dockside and watch it free, but you have to buy something to drink and eat, which you would do at home. In the long run, it is much cheaper and you get to hang out with normal people. When some loser kneels for the pledge you can all boo together. GO GIANTS! Oh well, I can dream.

How dare you use logic, reason and intelligence in your opinion. Shame on you. Don't you know that all cops are evil racist pigs (I guess that includes my son). Kneeling was the form taken by Colin K to protest for rights. How are they "two different subjects"?

The code states that persons present are expected to stand and face the flag, if there is one. Civilians should stand to attention with right hand over heart, while military personnel in uniform and veterans should salute throughout. I always wondered why do they play the anthem before an NFL game? They don't play it before a PGA Golf Tournament.

The past few months have showed we can live without sports. Any sport that stays out of politics we should support. By the way- have you ever tried to buy any Super Bowl Ticket( even the worst seat) unless your rich forget it.

I don't watch football anymore but if the players want to take a knee during the national anthem I don't have problem with it. I will still be the same person and enjoy my life regardless. If they're not allowed to take a knee it will not change the person's beliefs so the person will still harbor the same feelings.
Basically, nothing happens either way unless you choose to make it an issue.

Stop play National Anthem at sporting events. Exception is the winner of gold metal in the olympics.

Everyone must bend the knee -- to pressure groups. The Woke movement is a religion and repenting, confessing, getting on your knees -- physically or in words -- is required for repentance of sin. Ongoing repentance is required, which includes repeating words of faith, supporting each proposal from the Woke prophets and condemning the pagans who do not believe the way you do. Roger G. has repented and bowed the knee; so he is ok......for a while. Now, it is up to the viewing public and season ticket holders to vote with their money and their eyeballs. What will they do? How could it be possible that as the commissioner of the NFL, he makes $40,000,000. How ridiculous. That job should pay about $200,000 tops. Most players are so overpaid too. Reduce all the salaries, reduce the sport box fees and make it more affordable for everyone.

The last I checked, not a single NFL owner has ever suffered from CTE (in fact, they went to great lengths trying to deny it existed/was caused by the game)...so at least they have that going for them. :oops:

Why are the overwhelming players on the NFL teams black? Shouldn't their roster represent the proportion of blacks in the country-- currently 14%?
