The photo I saw of the ships in port at Cuba, showed a submarine that did NOT have nuclear ballistic missile capability. It may have been nuclear powered and may have some decent torpedoes and/or maybe even cruise missiles fired from it's tubes, but no ballistic missiles. I don't know why we are suddenly concerned about Russia making port calls in Cuba. They have been doing it for years.

There are a lot of mental retards in DC who think the USA can beat Russia and China in a war. My concern is that the retards end up in charge. Oh! Wait! They are! About WWII and Japan...We would have never defeated Japan without nukes. Period.

The only reason 2 nuclear weapons were used, was the astronomical manpower losses, on both sides, there would have been, if the US had had to land on Japanese mainland.
Those two bombs killed tens of thousands, but nothing like the numbers that would have incurred with a conventional mainland invasion.

The USA would have never survived a ground war in Japan...Sailing 1000 big bathtub toys 6000 miles and storming the Japanese beaches. That would have never worked and Truman knew it. The Japanese had a vicious "Kamikaze" ideology. Today, the Japanese are wicked smart and hugely beneficial to all of humanity.

A conventional kinetic war with Russia/China is just a suicide mission with them having massive amounts of guided munitions, drones, tactical nukes, SatCom, hypersonic missiles...the weapons of war are just so good now that war is now obsolete...there is only Mutual Assured Destruction and my fear is that the mental retards in DC haven't figured that out. Maybe they are just feebleminded murderous psychopaths and they just don't care. Afterall, most actually believe the planet is overcrowded and that CO2 can change earth climate.
