Nothing new, why do you think police large cities stand with back turned while retaining officer arresting the suspected criminal? So they don’t get shot in the back. IMO only black cops should respond in black neighborhoods. See how quick the perps get shot and they won’t be able to claim the race card.

It is extremely difficult for me to mentally process all that is happening. From what I learned in history classes this seems like the rise of Hitler all over again. Thugs beating up people in the streets, Krystanacht, arson, and more. I find it terrifying.

What I literally cannot understand is why the mayors of these cities and the governors of the states they are in have made no attempt to stop it. Indeed, it appears they are encouraging it.

Maybe now, the major of Portland will ask for help. They tried to set fire and burn down his condo building. Imagine how many innocent people could have been hurt or killed.

When the politicians are affected by the arson and looting than they will stop approving of it. After all they cannot be inconvenienced can they.

I recently ran into the owner of an (army/navy type store) he sells camping n survival stuff. He told me that many are joining groups that have a mission to protect their towns n small cities from rioters and those that might attempt to destroy their city. I personally would protect my family and myself from harm but he said many groups he knows of from 6 people to 1500 people have had enough! They will cause no harm to anyone but will protect from gangs and destructive groups who want to cause havoc. He went on to say, stores around the country can sell tons of ammunition and such items if they could get it. I was taken back somewhat as I know he’s a man to be honest and sincere. What could we be in for on our streets? These folks are not the thugs but good people who are organized to protect. They say the police won’t be able to do it. Has anyone heard about all this? I guess I’m in my own little bubble and need to be better informed if this man is right
I have heard of these groups and they train like a militia. They might be needed next year to restore order if police are defunded as some intend.

Maybe he will come out and say it wasn’t rioting, the crowd was trying to have “peaceful bonfire”.

If A civilian/coward shot somebody in the back and they were caught on video they would be in jail immediately. There would be no attempt to white wash what they did.

Maybe it’s time to think about “Marshall Law” in these areas where there is so much gang activity and insurrection. Rudy Guliani had New York fairly quiet when he instituted “Stop & Frisk”, but subsequent mayors deleted that and now the city is becoming dangerous again.

I wouldn’t worry about the pension issues because ubiquitous municipal defaults are just on the horizon. And the first thing to be erased will be pension obligations.

Apparently, BLM uses any action by any color police officer against any black criminal as racist and a reason to inflict violence, looting and burning. These people are not "protesters" but CRIMINALS.

All Democratic cities and states. Thought these riots would help in the November election. Now it’s backfiring and the narrative is changing. Just politics at its worst.
