I am not an expert on musical history. Yet, I DO know that each generation has a tendency to prefer THEIR OWN music. A generation is 20 years long, so that would make hip-hop / rap to be preferred as a group (with some individuals favoring some other music, obviously) .......a group from about age 30 to age 50. I assume that the music era before OURS -rock and roll- would be called the big band era with a little bit of folk thrown in?

However, he made a song with the lyrics stop shooting each other and go shoot police (fill in your own cuss words). After hearing that and actually reading the lyrics, if I even see him on a commercial or a show I immediately change the station. I’m surprised Martha Stewart does so much with him. That’s her business, but I will never support in any way someone that tells people to go shoot police.

You mean Martha the ex-con?

I always wonder how the police providing security for these performers feel about the “shoot the cops” message??
Maybe they should all take a knee and let the crowds run rampant

Hip-hop and rap, like all forms of music, aren't for everybody. I'm not a big fan, but then I'm not a big fan of polka or country. To each their own. Since nearly all NFL players are young men and something like 70% of them are minorities, it's probably about time they got a show featuring the music so many of them listen to (though many of them wouldn't listen to anything as old school as Dr. Dre or Snoop Dogg!).

Came back into the room from responding to some work emails just in time to see that trashy Ho spread her legs wide apart, that’s how. Quality viewing on prime time wasn’t it? Turned it to Nat Geo until I knew the game would be back on.

Amazing,

Is it garbage or just not liking people of color. Any time black players or musicians express them selves hateful comments are always used in the villages . I am white and a retired musician and while Rap and Hip Hop are not my favorite the talents and accomplishments of the performers at the half time show were as good as it gets.

It is embarrassing how closed minded our generation has become.

Thank god its out with the old and in with the new

It is the garbage they call music and also the blacks that calls themselves n___as in every other lyric (god help a white person if they so much utter the word) and profess in their songs about killing police offices (and I especially hate that as my wife and I are retired LEO’s).

To each their own. When Roger Goodell realizes that there are “other groups” that play the music that more of “us” like, then you can rail on them all you want.

Again, to each their own.

Nice, hopefully with W series 348 and 3 duces. 409 first came in late 61.
