They were "rude" to him ? Mr tough guy had his feelings hurt. He was not a king...now that might not settle with him, nor you.

But this tough guy attacked war hero's, women, and anyone he wanted to pick on, and since they were, for the most part, extremely personal, not about anything except they dared to criticize him.

There really IS equality in America. WE just don't believe in EQUITY.
The Constitution guarantees equal treatment by law. It does not give you equity by law when you have not earned it. You are not to get a middle class wage just because you ARE. You get it by earning it. It has nothing to do with ethnicity, but some wish to make it so.
It is the whites that are brain washing others into thinking that what happened 50 years ago is still happening. It is the blacks that are willing to jump on the band wagon. Just like these stimulus checks. No one really thinks they should continue, yet no one will send them back once they are mailed out.
I don't know anyone that mistreats blacks, but I do know of many white folks that have been slighted in my lifetime, due to affirmative action. Affirmative action was a big mistake and an example of Equity over Equality.

I am not sure why this post was allowed given that political references are not supposed to be on this site. However, since the poster asked the question I will answer. In most areas of the country reporters in the press core who conduct interviews are already all white. So there is no reason for politicians from the far right to make a statement they will only allow white reporters to interview them. Because that is the way it is. Lori Lightfoot is attempting to level the playing field because there are so few people of color covering city hall. White privilege exists in many facets of life due to the remnants of slavery and the disparity produced by bigotry. Home loans, banking policies, business opportunities even rules preventing blacks from enjoying the same recreational opportunities such as swimming in all white pools existed for decades. Racism is more subtle now but the generations of people of color who lost opportunities cant be swept under the rug. Hence, her statement. You don't like how it feels. So just take a moment and reflect on all those who suffered when whites burned down black business in the Tulsa Massacres or when land was stolen under eminent domain in Mahattan Beach where a black family owned a resort so that black American could have a place to swim because they weren't allowed to swim in public pools. Read up on what white privilege is and educate yourself on what these people have had to go through. Then you might have a better understanding of this situation.

She is a government employee. It is illegal for a government employee not to allow equal accommodation to any citizen, regardless of color, trying to access government officials. It is that simple.

No such thing as "white privilege" today. Just because someone suggests it in the media, does not make it so. Perhaps some use of common sense is called for in America, so that they will realize that Hollyweird and the media has it very easy convincing(?), brainwashing the weak minded.

The difference is obvious. He was the President of the United States, even if you disagree with his politics, the office commands respect. I remember one member of the press core goading him then trying to get into a shouting match with a cheap trick. I hope he was banned for life. I didn't like his rhetoric and manners, but I would not disrespect him to his face. I REALLY didn't like ANYTHING B.O. did, but I gave him the respect he deserved as POTUS. But neither of these past chief executives ever excluded anyone because of race. This "lady's" decision is not only disgusting, but it is the definition of the sheer hypocrisy that defines the left.

Last I checked, none of those were races...

Plus, Trump did countless interviews with ALL news outlets...

Or are you talking about the Church that was set on fire?
