Default Broken A/C Disconnect Switch

Most of our houses have a Square D (brand) A/C disconnect switch on the side of the house near the compressor. The design has a "T" handle which gets brittle after 20 years and snaps off. Unfortunately, the switch has been discontinued by the manufacturer. Does anyone have a recommendation on how to find replacement parts?

I would just call an electrician or HVAC contractor and have them replace the entire switch box. You should be able to get a price quote on the phone. Not a DIY project.

I agree, have the entire switch replaced, I also agree, typically not a DIY. You can get an idea of the cost of the switch at the big box stores. By the way, our hot tub has a disconnect, not a switch, probably a lower cost.
