For relatively light pictures I use a push pin or two.

There are many ways to hang pictures, however, these depend on:
The weight of the picture The type of wall, drywall, concrete block, concrete, stucco, etc. Your skill level in using power tools, typically a drill The local ACE hardware (route 301, about 1/4 mile south of 466A) has very helpful that can show you several different types of devices for hanging pictures. If you are not comfortable doing this type of work yourself, there are several local handymen that will do this for you. A search on this site, use the word handyman should get you several possibilities.

I've not seen it in years
My aunt who was an artist and would regularly change the artwork on display had what it think was called picture hanging molding.
The artwork is secured by hooks that attach to the molding. Strings are hung from those hooks. Result you do not put holes into the wall and you can easily change the art and or it's position on the wall. As to how to hang pictures there are hundreds of answers It depends on weight of what you are hanging and what you are hanging it on. Some items now are sold with keyhole slots cut into the back. This system is sued because it is cheap. Also, the company usually supplies no instructions and the system allows no adjustment for level or height. The secret is to make a full size paper model of the item secure that to the wall with the blue removable masiking tape and then drill through the pattern. Monkey hooks / Gorilla hooks
These have been working great for me. For hollow walls. Makes only a small hole. Very strong. Reusable.
Available at Amazon and all hardware stores, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes. Picture Hanging Hooks - Picture Hanger - Tools For The Home - YouTube https://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Hook-.../dp/B0019CHDKI |
