Default Help please: Waterseal on a garage floor??

Well, I called a professional (Amy Newsome)
and the answer is absolutely NOT.. water based applications like Thompsons won't seal concrete, just a
thin surface layer that will flake off. Also, if you do this, it makes a solvent application later more difficult
because you'd have to first remove the old sealer.

Hi, thanks for reading.
I really just want to seal the garage floor,
I don't really want it painted nor stained nor whatever,
just to seal it from stains and such.

Does Thompson's waterseal do an adequate job (etch first)????

Or will the hot car tires wear through the seal pretty quick?

Just weighing options on options and this is the lowest cost one
that's great if it'll hold up.
