Default Hunter Solar Sync Problem

Solar Sync sensor completely shuts off the system, regardless of the weather conditions, when in the active position. Have tried changing the sensor washers, reprogramming and rebooting both the Pro-c and the Solar Sync module, and still can't get it to work. Any suggestions short of getting a new sensor.

I watch the weekly weather forecast and turn my system on and off manually based on the weather and the condition of my grass. Off for most of the rainy season. On most of the rest of the year.

I assume you are referring to the rain sensor on the roof. It sounds like you need a new sensor. You can buy them at Central Pump and Supply, 2404 West Main St, Leesburg, 352-315-1075.

OP, if your unit is less than 5 years old, these are covered by the manufacturers warranty.

Call the hunter hot line and explain the problem and they will tell you to fix it.
