Default Painting window frames

I have acrylic windows in my lanai and I would like to paint the frames. Can I use painters tape and will it come off easily? I’m a sloppy painter.

I have used painter tape many times, I believe you will have no problems AS LONG AS you do not leave the tape on for a long time in the sun or weather. I would not leave the tape on for more than a day. On a side note make sure you are using the correct paint for your project, one for plastic and outdoor(?) use. Personally I would spend the additional time to use painters tape and newspaper so that I could use spray paint for a project like this. Good luck with your project.
