Default Removing Thompson Water Seal from Concrete Kitchen Countertops

I had a brand new kitchen installed. The contractor used Thompson Water Seal on the counter tops. Obviously, it needs to be removed and a correct sealer applied. What is the safest and easiest way to remove the sealer, please?

You did not mention the type of counter top, so I have no idea.

However, I did a search on Google "how do you remove thompson water seal from granite", and did get some results. You could change the search if you do not have granite.
Hope this helps.

Any sealer on stone or concrete will need to be removed mechanically rather than chemically otherwise, the solvent will cause the sealer to penetrate further into the surface. Grinding or sand blasting are probably the only options.
