After you patch the holes, Lowes, Home Depot, and my favorite ACE stores all have a spray on texture finish. You apply this allow to dry, and paint to match.

The spray on product is orange peal and available at Home Depot. But, I would recommend purchasing a 2 foot by 2 foot piece of sheetrock to practice on before you spray it on your wall. Otherwise, you may make a complete mess of the project. It also helps to soak the spray can in hot water before using it.
