Default ceiling fan problem

capacitor just blew out, exploded ?. where to buy one. ???
Anyone else had this problem ?

Check at ACE hardware, Lowes, and Home Depot, I think all three carry these. First turn of the power at the circuit breaker. Take a photo of the original installation. The capacitors are typically the same, but double check any markings on the terminals or wires.

Try Dan's Ceiling Fan's in Leesburg call 352-326-9018. I had a broke switch on one of mine ceiling fans & they had the replacement part.

Ceiling fan up date ,called the company and they sent me a new unit the same color.

What kind of fan and how old? I know some major brands will replace them if not that old.

It was a kichler fan. Called the company tech service and sent a picture of it.they said they would sent me a new lower unit to replace it. But only had a bronze in stock they sent it to me so i would not be without a fan til the white one could be sent on/about dec, 10. It came on dec 12.
