Our dentist takes NO insurance, but provides a form that you can send to the insurance company, and the check comes directly to you, and you paid the bill in full initially. This works fine for us, and we have a very good dentist, Baylee Dental, Baylee Plaza, just south of 42 on 441.

You can try DR. Barnet at Family Denistry behind Laurel Manor. We have had good luck there, but no insurance.
We had dental insurance when we were working. We knew up front how much they paid when we took it.
Good luck!

Dental insurance is great because all the procedures are locked in by predetermined contracts. Mine is through the VA (Delta) and costs $35.00 a month. Which also gives me $1,500 a year towards most anything I need.

I use Dr. Lunsford in Leesburg. I don't think he takes dental insurance, but he charges way less than most of The Villages dentists.
I use Baylee Dental in Summerfield. They do not take any insurance but are honest and professional and NO upselling.. I have United and will be submitting for review a crown I had done because the tooth broke. Hope to get some money back. If not no big deal, it is hard to find an honest dentist and I have one.

Rkbowlus, you have shared a great example COM the choices MediCare recipients have in purchasing their health, vision, dental and hearing plans.

You can be and enjoy a DIY experience or you can engage in a consultation with an independent broker … or both!

October 15 is the start of the next Annual Enrollment Period where you can make another switch.

Best wishes!

You might try Dr. Jerkins in Fruitland Park. I don't know if he is accepting new patients or if he takes insurance, but his fees are very reasonable.

We have United & have had good dental care. Just check the list of dentist & pick the closest to you- we just mainly need cleanings at this age.

The OP asked for dentists that take UHC. Five of 27 responses offered him a direct response to his question.

Can people not focus on the question at hand?

Thumbs up Thank you!

Thank you all for your help. I knew I could count on you. The UHC website has many dentists listed in duplicate and triplicate but pulling reviews gets very tedious and confusing. I appreciate all the personal reviews.
