Math Teacher Job Description

Holy Trinity Episcopal School is looking for a part-time Math Teacher for the 2022- 2023 school year to help serve our students' educational needs.

Students who attend HTES have learning differences such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning differences. We maintain on average a 7:1 student to teacher ratio to provide additional learning opportunities for our students. Teachers have creativity in approaching our curriculum.

Responsibilities include conducting high school and middle school Math classes. Preparing lesson plans for each assigned class. Assigning, correcting, and grading homework, classwork, and assessments. Managing classes carefully to ensure all students are learning in a safe and inclusive environment.

Qualifications:

• Required: Bachelor's Degree
• Preferred: 2 or more years teaching experience
• Preferred: Current, valid Florida state teaching certification
• Preferred: Experience teaching students with learning differences • Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Classroom

Pay starts at $24.15/hour.
Times: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-1:35pm
Friday 8:00am-12:00pm
Bi-weekly staff meetings on Fridays from 12:00pm-1:00pm
