Yeah I know, in laws live in the village of Woodbury, we both haven’t played for years so we have been going to the Lopez range to knock the rust off.

we haven’t got proficient enough with our longer woods and irons so we though the pitch and putt would be good start so we don’t annoy and hold up people behind us.

In-laws live in village of Woodbury, so the Lopez range and practice green is close by, that’s where we have been hitting balls for a few days now.

We don’t feel proficient enough with our driver and long irons without some lessons, so we figured the pitch and putt would be good so we don’t annoy or hold up others, hens the long trip to march bend.

RARO1 you can play at a championship course on a guest pass. You and your father-in-law can play only 9 if you want

On the 1st tee there were ‘grandpa’, son & daughter-in-law and 4-5 kids ranging from 3-7 each with a club in their hand. I didn’t say anything. I’m not about to confront grandpa, though he obviously had to know better. I left and rolled past again at 7:40p. All of the children were on the 3rd green running around and back & forth to the 2 carts on the path! I called the next day. I knew what the answer would be. ‘Not much we can do after 7pm’. Thoughts ...

I think it’s great that you got to see a family having a good time with each other. Would’ve been too much trouble for you to just go to the second tee? Get over it!

Just another "privileged " Villager.

They need to be thrown off the course. It isn’t a playground.

I was once a starter on Truman/Roosevelt as well as an ambassador and a starter at Sandhill. We had a chronic violator bring his grandson to the courses after the starter shack was closed and the ambassador had left. I made it a practice to stay late and confront the gentleman and asked him for his ID so I could check to see if his trail fee was paid and charge him a visitor tee time fee for his grandson. He left.......didn't see him again after that.

Nope. Not even close. Lots of people like to say lots of things on here. Lots of it not true.

You could not be more WRONG. Read the rules then maybe you will understand. It's not a walking trail, playground, picnic spot. It's a golf course, and you MUST have a tee time and you MUST check-in with a starter.

First thing that comes to my mind - Bet nice memories are being made for that family. A joy to see.

Thoughts? Thoughts?
Just find a different course!

Last Tee- Time?

My wife and I used to almost always (Pre-Corona) reserve the last time at nearby 'executive courses', usually Sarasota. Even though we were the 'last Tee' and then the 'starter shack' would then close down, almost every time someone, or others, would show up on the tees after us. And they, if they were right behind us and thought that we weren't playing up to their 'one golfer' speed, would seem to be glaring down freeway at us if we could espy them. Never understood how they got away with this. Also, it also gave, their guest if they were along, free golfing!
