Thumbs down Churchill Greens

Played today only because Belmont was packed with slooooow foursomes. I moved over to Churchill because it wasn't busy. Now I know why. What a dog track! Heavily sanded greens with plenty of bare patches and weedy fairways. I shouldn't be too upset because it's free, but I won't be back any time soon.

Might want to hold that thought. Churchill is slated to be closed and renovated.

Free ??

You do realize that part of the amenity fees goes toward maintenance and upkeep of all executive courses , don’t you ?

So, you don’t pay an amenity fee ?

And yes , we played Churchill this past Thursday and to call it a “dog track/park” is being very kind !

It’s in deplorable condition !!

Pin placement is pitiful on Churchill. Yes I know I can't putt, but, it's either in the cup or rolls back down the slope.

Default Churchill Golf Course

Your comment about the cost to play Churchill Golf Course is free. It isn't free, it is part of your Amenity Fee. Hopefully once the districts get the $149.00 that we pay for trial fees as part of our Priority membership the courses will look and play better.

I play the Champ courses almost exclusively. Those cost $50 right now so compared to $0 at the gate for the Execs it feels basically free. Regardless, I won't be back to Churchill anytime soon with the plethora of other great courses to play.

You probably need to post the quote so people will know which post you're referring to.

The districts will get your $149 only if you pay your trail fee.

I played yesterday. The course should be closed until the condition of the greens improve. Fairways have very little grass. The course shows an overall lack of upkeep. Hopefully things will improve in a month or so. Starters show alert us to the condition of the course.

Their are three thing you cannot hide before purchasing property, transparence of neighbor's, a lot of smoke and mirror comments, rental property problems.

Played Churchill yesterday. Despite all the rain the greens were still heavily sanded.

It’s not FREE...you are paying for it every month plus trail fees:
