Many, many more on Monday.

Reading posts reminds me of a :boxing2: match. Someone is going to win someone is going to loose

:boxing2::boom:

That's because they are NOT-UP anymore.....
Why would I care how many hours anybody works, I'm not exactly paying for it...
BTW, Punching you back.... :icon_wink:

Sweetgum is now open! There are Exec tee times after 4:00. Life is good. Things are getting back to normal.

Same here. Never like that in the past. No one going home this summer?

There is no way a threesome will get a teetime if they are NOT Priority members. Believe it...that is why we pay for our memberships! Don't forget that a group of 9 people that regularly play together occupies 3 tee times. The number playing in that group changes weekly. One Non priority member in a group request will knock out the whole group. It doesn't matter how early you make your request. They all go in the system at Midnight of the day it comes out. It is a point system..not first come first served.

When the championship courses stopped using all 3 courses with waves nearly half the tee times were cut out. Mallory was totally closed cutting out a lot more tee times. Some courses increased the time between tee times to allow for the staging of carts into time slots in parking lots. It is pretty easy to understand the problem in getting tee times.

For those who may not know , priority membership is NOT considered when requesting a tee time on executive golf courses......

It's because golf is one of the only things that stayed open during the shutdown, so every Tom, Dick, Harry and Mary decided to play golf. I watch them from my house on an executive course and you can tell many of them never held a golf club, but it's free if you waldk

Happens all of the time. If you play a lot of golf that your request is put at the bottom of the list of tee times. It is the only fair way to do it. Otherwise there are golf tee time hogs that will put in as much as they can and the rest of us who also pay ammenities have to sit out. Not fair.

On exec courses that's basically how it works, the less reservation and cancellation points get first crack.
On champ courses, the priority points count first, the amount you have played is only a tie breaker.

A couple of things regarding this. The largest impact was probably due to ending the T-times at 4pm - less available T-times. 2nd many snowbirds from virus hard hit states like NY, NY and Michigan are staying longer. I think with the T-Times opening up this week, we should see more available options.....

And third, the championship courses closed one of their 9 hole courses so I’m sure all those “unavailable” tee times translates to those folks gravitating to the executives......

The other possible reasons for tee times being unavailable make sense, but another factor is the dramatic increase in Villagers. The Morse family does not appear to care that unlimited building will cause quality of life issues. The number of new courses has not kept pace with the population increase.

And they will probably tell you that golf is not as popular to the new wave of young folks coming to TV. A good excuse for slapping up new houses rather than golf holes on all that available land.
